    New Jersey

    New Jersey entered the union in 1787.  It was the 3rd state to do so.   Today the capital is Trenton.

    New Jersey is bordered by Delaware, New York and Pennsylvania as well as the Atlantic Ocean.

    New Jersey's agriculture includes horses, vegetables, fruits and nuts and sea food.  Its industries include chemical products, food processing, printing and publishing and tourism.

    The largest cities are Newark, Jersey City, Paterson, Elizabeth and Edison Township.
