Don’t miss......!
- The Alamo. The icon of Texas liberty from Mexico. Enjoy
the River Walk not far from the Alamo. Enjoy the hill country
in the area.
- 14 miles northwest of San Antonio, spend an hour or so in the 68
degree Cascade Caverns. Walk past water shaped formations. It’s
a living cave so don’t be surprised if you get a cave kiss.
- The grassy knoll. A term that sticks in the minds of anyone
old enough to remember the day President Kennedy was shot. Shots
seemed to come from the grassy knoll. It’s still there
and you can see it as you drive. Also visible is the book repository
where it is commonly believed that Lee Harvey Oswald took aim.
